I'm experiencing slight pain and sensitivity in one of my teeth when eating or drinking. I recently had a filling done in the same tooth. Will I need a root canal?

Post filling sensitivity for a few days is quite normal, but you must report it to your dentist who can correlate it with your past history and symptoms. It is not always a root canal that is needed in these cases. but an examination and x Ray is needed to check the tooth.
