Hi doctor, i have oral lichen planus with reducing gums and white lining on buccal mucosa. Can i go for cleaning and is it safe for my condition or will make worse..

Hi, you two problems simultaneously, receding gums is because of plaque and calculus deposits, so for that scaling is the treatment, you definitely should go for the treatment. And for the lichen planus also you need to take medication. And lastly scaling will not worsen your problem. Best of luck.
