Tooth cavity and pregnancy
Hello I m 5 weeks pregnant and I have cavities in my 2 teeth it's just tooth decay frm a long time untreated ...can I go to the dentist or pls suggest me how can I take care of it at home...will it bother my baby? Or cause any issue in the future in my pregnancy pls help m worried

U should hv ideally got it treated before u embarked on this pregnancy Any infection can be a harbinger of preterm labour Infection definitely needs to be treated Connect with a dentist Any procedure needs to be put on hold till completion of first trimester

Please go to a dentist for checkup. If there is any infective focus, it needs to be treated.If any surgical intervention required, should ideally be done in 2nd trimester.

U can have a checkup with dentist and can have a mouth wash or any thing like that..after 12 weeks u can have required treatment either medication or extraction
