The particular area where you feel the sensitivity, teeth on that side might be worn off (attrited) or are decayed. You need to visit a dental office if desensitizing tooth paste is not effective.

Hi, this condition is called sensitivity. U need to get checked for the level of enamel wear happened. Also, are you following the right brushing technique .. using sensodyne tooth paste in proper direction will help reduce the pain.
