Took advised tablet but periods late

I have a problem of irregular periods they sometimes dont come for three months also so my doctor said that it can be pcos and gave me tablets that would make my periods come fast I took evetab 2mg and deviry 10mg for 8 days every night as advised by my gynac but even after 2 weeks i haven't gotten my periods and yesterday i had dark brown blackish spotting i have had sex only 5 days ago and before that I didn't do anything for 25 days and my partner didn't ejaculate inside me 5 days ago and i have been on medication is this a sign of pregnancy or a sign of periods coming ? Or is this just discharge due to hormones? Because I am scared and feeling anxious
