Dear doctor,
My dentist has advised that my son's tongue tier should be surgically cut as it's affecting his jaw movement. Please advise if it's really necessary to undergo that procedure or what could be the disadvantage of retaining it. He is 18 year old boy. If there are benefits of getting tongue it freed from tier . I have attached photo of the same. Request you to kindly advise.
