To know about intralipid injection?
I suffer from infertility from past 4 years. I have a miscarriage in feb 2019. I had a diagnostic laproscopy and hysterscopy (ovarian drilling for pcos) 2 weeks ago and i my doctor said she will give me an intralipid injection IL 1/2 (5u) d2. I want to know what this abbreviation actually means and what does this injection do for infertility?

Hi, The injection is Intra lipid (IL) infusion. It is a 20% fat emulsion which is injected intravenously. Given twice, hence 1/2 that is two doses. 5u is 5 units: it is the measurement. If you seek more information, feel free to consult.
