Asked for Female, 26 Years

We married 4 months back! 1st month normal periods 2nd month 8 days before got periods due to high temperatures fever. 3rd month got periods after 3 days skips 4th month got periods 9 days before. We went to doctor she advised us to take Duphaston from 18th day to 28th day to support for conceive. But my wife got periods in 26th day! Can anyone tell me what is the cause for this? We Had perfectly in Ovulation time 10 to 16th day. Is it any other reason for not getting pregnant??
