To continue Pregnancy or not
Hi , I am a 39 year old male asking this on behalf of my wife and myself . My wife had a stillbirth at 36 weeks due to placental abruption an year ago and an emergency c section was done. We were under continuous stress from last 6-8 months due to loss of child and other death in family . We were thinking to start planning for child  after another 6 months but we just found that my wife tested positive for pregnancy as her last date was 5 weeks ago . We are in dilemma now as I am also obese and was under continuous stress from last few months plus we had intercourse after 10-15 days of abstinence so I am worried about sperm health and health of child as we have history of still birth. So we are not sure about continuing the pregnancy as we wanted to be in healthy mental and physical state before conceiving but it's a tough decision to not continue as well .kindly advise .

Pregnancy is a boon on such a difficult time.. since it is more than a year there is no medical contraindication. Spontaneous still birth is different from placental abruption. Bp control, rigorous monitoring and early delivery can help you this time. But your mental state is best known to you therefore make the decision that is best for you

Hi If you have concieved already, dont go for termination of pregnancy This pregnancy would need to be monitored over the nine months with regular visits to a gynaec. Ofcourse there are risks with previous cesarean section but termination of this pregnancy carries an equal risk. Best advice would be to continue pregnancy under guidance. For mental and spiritual well being, you can try meditation and lifestyle changes. Welcoming a new change isn’t easy but given the age, it would be advised to continue and accept the decision. Rest upto you Good luck

As the information provided it seems to be the gap of 1 yr from previous pregnancy. As per my suggestion you can continue the pregnancy considering risk and complications of previous cesarean section and abruption we may need an early delivery. Do not be stressed about the health of the baby ,it needs evaluation as per the schedule which will benefit the baby and mother.
Next Steps
regular check up and follow

If age of your wife is also 35+ years you should not further delay pregnancy You can still over this as natural conception becomes difficult over time
