Tmt is borderline positive
My father age 70.yesterday we done ecg,echo are normal.blood sugar, bp is normal.lipid profile triglycerides 152,cholesterol 126.tmt  shows  borderline positive.but no  chest pain.doctor suggest asprin tablet daily for 30days and suggest do cr angiogram.my doubt is that he had no pain in chest why he take asprin tablet.when we start taking tablet it is continuously taking life long.it is necessary doing cr angiogram.please suggest me sir.

Hi Your father had no chest pain ....but still TMT is postive, few people will not have symptoms but they can have disease Your father is 70 years and male person means he is having two risk factors... So he requires Aspirin now ...check CT angiogram based no the report we see how many days he should take
