Tightening of belly in 9th month
I am in 37th week of pregnancy and since last night(more than 12 hours) my belly is very tight and suddenly super heavy. I am not able to walk properly but no other symptoms or pain. Baby movements are also fine. I am not sure if it is a cause of concern. Kindly help

No it is not a matter of concern These are normal pressure symptoms of pregnancy Labour pains is like contractions They are intermittent not continuous

Tightening of belly along with pain is a sign of early labour . It gradually increases in frequency and intensity as you set into active labour . Connect to a gynaec for examination

Every pregnancy is precious, please have antenatal check up with your doctor soon , it can a contraction If its persisting , you are in labour Is it associated with pain definitely it’s a sign you are going in to labour No harm getting it checked

This feeling is normal in 9th month of pregnancy.  If you experience pain or leaking or you feel your baby movements are less - then consult immediately at your nearby hospital or your doctor
