If she was taking thyronorm from before the pregnancy then she needs to continue it. May be the dose of drug needs to be adjusted. It is safe for baby. If thyroid problem started during the pregnancy then in most cases it may diasppear after pregnancy and medicine can be stopped. But you need to consult your physician before stopping the medicines.
