Hi doctor My mother is 50 years old. Currently we did complete blood test for her, health wise she is fine,she is on no medication. Where everything was under control. Except the thyroid hormone. It is 6.09 so I'm little concerned about it. Kindly advise your valuable suggestions. Shall I visit doctor. Regards

Don't get misled by online comments by general doctors regarding thyroid. Consult DM or DNB qualified Endocrinologist doctors Even if your thyroid antibodies are positive, treatment not always required. Treatment for thyroid depends not only on TSH but also on your symptoms.

By thyroid if u mean TSH of 6, it doesn’t need to be treated in asymptomatic patients unless Anti TPO antibodies are positive
