Hello doctor, In 2013, when I was 18 I had sever acne for which my dermatologist prescribed me birth control pills for controlling acne and irregular periods though he mentioned that it's highly medicated medicine which I shouldn't not take years after when I get married or about to get marry, but he did not explained me about its side effects and that its a birth control pill which will be have in long run. My acne for the time being like for 6 months got better and after 6 months of consuming birth control pills YAZ, I stopped it. But in 2014 I again started having acne on my neck and cheeks both and irregular period... bothered me and I again visited the same dermat in 2014, he then prescribed me Isotretinoin for 6 months and he did some needling too. I took Isotretinoin for 3 4 months and then I discontinued it coz my lips were drying out too much..and acne was somewhat reduced. In 2015 for whole year till 2016 May I had sever acne again like big nodules which
