Thyroid issue
I have been diagnosed with hypothyroid last year in April 2021 with TSH level 13.8, I started taking eltroxin 50 mcg medicine after doctor's prescription. While on medicine I checked my thyroid profile every 2 months and each time it was normal. But in my recent report my TSH level were very low (0.1) while T3 and T4 were normal. I was suggested to reduce the dose to half (25 mcg) and take the same for 5 days and then stop the medication for one month. Then test again for TSH levels. After not having any medicine for a month, I yesterday went for the test and my TSH shows the value 5.83 ( the reference range was given as 0.35- 5.50). It means it is slightly above the normal range. It will be very helpful if I could get any direction from the doctors here in this regard. please guide me that should I stop the medicine and test again after some time or continue with any particular dose.

According to your sign and symptom you are suffering from hypothyroidism .
It's treated by well controlled diet eth exercise .
First you should understand that thyroid is gland and it's produce thyroid harmone.
So hypothyroidism in thyroid is control by balance diet with proper medication.
