Just from TSH its hard to say if you require treatment or not. There are other things we must takr into consideration If u r pregnant If u r already having any symptoms If u were previously on thyroid medicines

Hi .. we don't treat lab values .. so stop worrying about reports Yes your tsh is borderline elevated doesn't mean I should take tab .. If tsh is more than 10 u require treatment Or else u should have clinical features of hypothyroidism then we ll treat u.. def not for this value.. don't worry

What are ur symptoms for which u undergo this test. Whether u need to start medicine or not depends upon symptoms. If it was a routine test. Then don’t start medicine. Do lifestyle changes.
