Cut off of TSH to start treatment for hypothyroidism in the first 3 months of pregnancy is 2.5. The dose will be adjusted after testing the tsh level after 4-6 weeks.
Health Tips
Continue to take the prescribed dose of Thyronorm without fail as untreated Hypothyroidism can be harmful to the baby.
You need to be educated about the fact that in pregnancy TSH should be less than 2.5 in the first trimester and less than 3 there after
You need the medication
Repeat TSH every 45 days
Because as the pregnancy grows the requirement of the baby is added on and your weight also increases so your requirement also goes up
