Thumb laceration on palm side
In early July I had a finger laceration on the palm side of my thumb. I recieved seven stitches and two weeks ago I had red streaks and itching. Went to the er it was infected they gave me clyndamycin for seven days 300mg I finished those yesterday. My fingertip is enlarged still with a pain like hangnail sensation sensitivity along side the thumb.

If pain, swelling and redness have not reduced, there could be still some infection. Better to open the wound and drain out pus if any.
