The pain ..swelling and loss of movement is because your joint got hurt...nothing to worry... We call it as a contution..
I suggest you the following...fir a good recovery .
Frequent icing...for 15 mins for every 2 hours...
Keep your finger wrapped with a tape..normal dressing tape is also ok..but should be firmly rolled onto the finger...
Avoid moving your thumb...
If you have any prescription of Anti inflammatory tabs you ca have them...on advise of a GP...
It will heal completely..nothing to worry
