Hi Doctor I was diagnosed with thrush as of last week and started taking canestan for a day but got my period the day after and then had to resort to taking an oral tablet. The swelling and redness have gone and I no longer have clumpy white discharge however, I still have slight itchiness and more discharge than normal. Do i continue using canestan? or do i see a gynecologist?

HELLO,
YOU CAN WAIT FOR THREE DAYS IF MORE IMPROVEMENT THAN CONTINUE FOR SEVEN DAYS.
AS YOU HAD MENTIONED REDNESS DECREASE, FLOW A BIT DECREASE.
BUT IF YOU WANT
CONSULT A GYNACOLOGIST.
O.K
