After doing the HRCT some fluid is present in lungs. So doctor advice to remove that fluid by needle. So they said go for sonography then they will remove that fluid by throcentasis method After that they put the needle on lung side but no fluid is collected in container. What will be reason no fluid is come out

Need to quantify the amount of fluid through ultrasound , or may be loculated effusion, needed detailed history and investigation reports, do a online consultation with a pulmonologist for further evaluation and management
