Throatache and fever

Asked for Male, 23 Years

I have got this fever and throat ache for more than 7 days.I have seen doctor twice and has been prescribed with pcm levocitrazine cough syrup and an anti biotic, but this mild fever with body pain and throat ache is still there. I have been taking steam and gargling regularly but for no use.
