Thread left in skin after stitches.
Hi, I had myomectomy surgery. During stitches removal my doctor told me that a long thread is left in my skin which is a black thread non dissolved. Now I am worried is it harmful to me? What should I do now? Do I need to take another surgery for that.

No need it will come out gradually. For that again no surgery.Nylon thread we are using for stitching of rectus sheath. It is very strong thread and helps in preventing the hernia due to scar or wound.
