Based on your description and the photos, this white line appears to be due to dry mouth or mild friction, not a serious condition. The fact that it disappears when Kenocart is applied or when the mouth is moist, has not increased in size for months, and is no longer rough is reassuring. Such lesions related to dryness usually come and go, unlike serious conditions which remain constant.
Since you have a dry mouth and have quit tobacco, which is excellent, this does not look alarming at present. Keep your mouth well hydrated, avoid spicy foods, and maintain good oral hygiene. A routine dental examination is advised for confirmation and peace of mind, especially if you notice any change in size, color, or symptoms.

There are a lot of reasons for white lesions in the mouth ranging from harmless temporary to potentially serious.
Any white lesion persisting for more than 2 weeks should be evaluated by a dentist.
Long term application of kenacort ointment is not advised.

Hello
Good that you have quit tobacco. There are many reasons behind white lesion can be leukoplakia or can be linea alba too.
Not worry.
Do not keep applying kenacort daily.
Dry mouth can be due to gastric issues.kindly consult with gastroenterologist once so that your dry mouth issue will get resolved automatically
Hello,
From your description and images, this appears to be linea alba—a common, benign frictional line caused by cheek biting, teeth contact, dryness, or mild irritation. The fact that it reduces with Kenocort and during moist conditions and has not progressed for months is reassuring.
Dry mouth, gastric reflux, and past tobacco use can make such lines more noticeable. Since the surface is no longer rough and there is no increase in size, pain, or ulceration, this does not look suspicious at present.
Maintain good hydration, avoid cheek biting, manage gastric issues, and continue tobacco abstinence. If the line thickens, becomes non-scrapable, painful, or starts increasing, then an in-person oral examination is advised.
Hope this helps.
