Teething baby with high fever
My baby has been experiencing high fever for the past three days, which has been fluctuating. He is currently teething, and we have noticed that his right canine gum is swollen and red. We have been administering paracetamol every 6 hours, and Meftal P when the paracetamol doesn't seem to work. Despite this, his temperature keeps on fluctuating, with a maximum temperature of 103°F throughout the day. We have also noticed that at times his arms and legs feel cold, while his body and head feel very hot. We are concerned about his health and would appreciate your guidance on what we can do to help alleviate his symptoms. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Is the active when there is no fever? Is he feeding well? The baby may need tests if fever is worsening. Please visit a pediatrician for check up. No need to worry about cold arms and legs during fever. It can happen in any fever. Finding cause of fever is important. Teething does not cause such high fever.
