My mother has been having teeth ache from a broken teeth for a few days. We visited a dentist and he gave antibiotics and painkiller. However once she came back, she started having fever. We checked and saw 103. Once we gave paracetamol it dropped. Is this a normal occurence to have this much fever during teeth infection?

Please visit an Endodontist/root canal specialist at the earliest.
Since your mother complains of tooth pain, fever- signs of acute infection.
Treatment should start immediately, to relieve her from pain and further complications.
Take care. Do not worry.
It's better to get the teeth treated. Antibiotics are never a solution!
If an abcess starts forming, it will be more complicated.
Next Steps
Immediately see your doctor not for medication, but for treatment when relief occurs
Health Tips
Antibiotics will not cure toothache, they will only mask the problem until you have something done about the tooth itself. They may stop the pain for a few days, weeks or even months, but it will always come back with a revenge!
