Your complaint seems to be like the trouble is from 3rd molar eruption. A warm salt water gargling will provide temporary relief. However, visit your dentist to get this issue completely resolved.

It must be gums. Either its a gingival polyp or 3rd molar erupting. Visit dentist for clinical examination and x ray.

Hi The pain may be because of your wisdom tooth eruption. You should visit the dentist once for proper examination .
Next Steps
Gargle with lukewarm water and salt. Do not take your tongue to that area which makes it more painful.
