Teeth grinding is a usually a side effect of stress of some kind. Usually job, home life etc. Along with getting a night guard to protect ur teeth, please consult a therapist to get to the root of ur stress also. U can protect the teeth for the time being, but constant biting force may cause damage to ur jaw joint as well (in the long run). Better to manage both.
Next Steps
if u grind ur teeth at night, u probably do that at some part of the day (not as much). like maybe while focusing intently on something. that is ur cause of teeth grinding.
Health Tips
getting to the source of the problem will bring about a more permanent solution. manage stress along with protecting teeth and jaws.
