It would be better to get the teeth checked.  Visit an orthodontist in or near your city , if this has been there for more than one month. As this needs checkup and diagnosis. Hope this helped.

Its important to know the reason why your child grinds her teeth at night first. Most children grind due to stress, anxiety, personality factors such as aggressivity, behavioral problems and hyperactivity, breathing issues, and less frequently due to vitamin D deficiency, low dietary calcium intake, presence of menarche, malocclusion, and oral habits. Based on the cause she would require occlusal splint with or without behaviour therapy.
Next Steps
Keep a diary to note down when your child grinds her teeth. This will help you discuss how frequently your daughter grinds her teeth with your dentist.
Health Tips
If left untreated, it could cause tooth fractures, wear and muscle pain and headaches.

Hello Teeth grinding at any age a serious issue. It is more concerning if it happens at such a young age. There are many reasons why a person grinds teeth. They vary from physiological (misaligned teeth ) to psychological and neuroses. You must immediately visit a pedodontist or prosthodontist to get to know better about the condition and how to treat it. There is no one method for complete elimination and treatment generally is multifactorial hence a physical visit to a specialist is necessary

Many children have the teeth grinding habit which is known as bruxism in medical terms. This condition often gets unnoticed by many parents and hence children end up with this habit even in their adulthood . This condition severely damages the teeth as they are being grinded against each other for long duration and high frequency. Enamel of the teeth is eroded off hence making the teeth more prone to sensitivity . To prevent this damage to teeth , NIGHTGUARDS are provided by the dentist , which protects the teeth from rubbing off on each other . A proper assessment would help to identify the cause of teeth grinding and we can then work upon it.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist as soon as possible to receive a nightguard and get a diagnosis done to identify the cause of teeth grinding .

Hi yes many kids have teeth grinding but this condition fails to get identified or diagnosed at a very young age. It's very good that you noticed. Since she's young this can definitely be taken care off. To start with take her to a dentist after thorough examination they may advise a NIGHTGUARD which will minimise the effects of grinding. Also after an assessment we can identify the cause and work on that as well.
Next Steps
Visit the dentist and get the needful done.
