TB with breast swelling and axilla lump
My wife has lump in right axilla since last 3 months and now she has swelling also on right breast .she got PPD TB skin test as per advise of doctor and that test was positive with 20 mm induration while she has not any symptoms like cough,fever and she is taking anti-TB medicines so please tell me is TB cause of this lump and swelling ?? Is this Skin test ienough to confirm TB ??? Should we go for more testings ?? Please give your valuable advice.

Hi. I understand your concern s. Only skin test is not enough for diagnosis. Ideally she will need to undergo a excision biopsy and other investigation. Consult a surgeon for the same at the earliest
