Tb , plureal effucion , pus , chest tube
I am a tb paitent , from last one and half month i m taking tb med , doctor put chest tube in my chest wall due to plureal effusion , and pus is coming out from it , in starting days whene i start my treatment , i have bad fever at all time with bad cough but now fever level is very low , its 99.5 to 100 onece in a day , but still pus is coming from my chest , may i know pus is reason for fever or tb , because with tb medcine i felt better my weight was increased , but chest tube is very painful for me , my sputum diagnose result is afb 3+ , my blood reports are normal , blood culture is normal , maleria is negative , just facing chest tube issue , its drain level is 60 to 80 ml per day , please tell me when its go & when i felt like a normal person

You are on right treatment and you are responding to treatment when pus will decrease to 10-15 ml they will take out drain . You have to take treatment as mint months as your chest physician has prescribe you without break please.
