Sir, My wife is a patient of TB. Her treatment has started in the month of March. I'm well aware about the side effects of the TB medicines.
From Feb month, her Hemoglobin level was around 8 and for that the medical specialist gave her iron medicine with Vit C , folic acid (SederOM) and she has reported iron deficiency too. Report says
Iron serum - 14 against 50-170 and
Transferrin Saturation - 3.26 against 16-50.
For that doctor had given SederOM medicine for 2 months.
Her TB medicines are continued.
Now, from last 10 days she is having pain in the back and around the neck. And sometimes her body temperature rises drastically and sometimes she feels shivers or chills ( just under the fan in this summer ).
Kindly help me with further diagnosis.
And help me what kind of problem she might be having.
And yes, which specialist should I take her to?
Detailed answers are welcomed.
