TB in lungs and regular fever

Asked for Male, 50 Years

My father is around 50 years old nd he is suffering from TB in lungs, the medicine are taking properly according to doctr from 15 days.. But fever remains consistently from 99 to 101. How much time fever take to settle down? Pls suggest why fever is taking to much time? Fever remains because of TB?
