Hello ma'am, Scaling is not a painful procedure but as your gingiva is inflammed bleeding may occur but no need to worry it'll stop. U should use mouthwash. After scaling you should follow proper brushing technique. Scaling will reduce the inflammation and bad breath. Proper history and clinical evaluation are also needed.
Next Steps
visit the clinic.

No need to worry. It’s a painless procedure. You can gargle with Benzydamine Mouthwash BP to reduce any discomfort or pain if needed. Bleeding gums and bad breath will gradually subside after scaling.

Don’t panic. Some bleeding while scaling is not at all harmful and its just temporary. Infact the scaling will improve your gum problems. And you can ask the dentist about the right brushing techniques to prevent gum problems in future and also do the gum massage

Go for scaling and polishing
