My wife taking contraceptive pills named femilon for pcod now her blood sugar 200 and we check hba1c and tbe result is 6.8 did she having daibetic becauz of femilon tab what we should we do ?

PCOD can be associated with diabetes mellitus or can lead to diabetes. Femilon will not lead to diabetes. I would suggest consult an Endocrinologist to initiate treatment along with diet & regular exercise. Start T. Gluconorm SR 500 mg - 1-0-1, after food, daily for her diabetes.

One cant be sure about the cause of diabetes. Hba1c of 6.8 is definitely in the diabetic range although its not very high. Dietary changes and exercises along with a small dose of medications will bring it under control. The type and dose of medicines will be decided after discussing with you both. It depends on a lot of factors although a medicine called metformin is usually used.
