Taken a unwanted 72
I have done unprotected sex on last Saturday and taken pills on that day only. After that next day I had stomach pain but little bit only then. Today is one week , I had experienced abdominal pain and bleeding and red discharge also. So what should I consider as a period or a pill's side effects. Or should I go for a pregnancy test.

This irregular bleeding is a side effect of the emergency contraceptive pill that you have taken which is called withdrawal bleeding You need to keep in mind the high failure rate of emergency contraceptive pills and yes you will require a pregnancy test in case you skip your periods
