Swollen liver

Asked for Female, 20 Years

My boyfriend did drugs once and abused alcohol,weed and hash and stuff. He told me the left side of his lungs are swollen. He said his medication will stop mid June. Now he's asking me if he can do a little bit of hash. I want to know how serious the problem is and for how long should he completely stop the intake of any alcohol and stuff?
