Switching of rabies vaccine. SAFE?
Hello,     On 25 May at the night time a street dog did bite me. On 26 morning my doctor gave me TT injection + Rabipur PCEC injection. But my doctor is saying that he don't have more injections of the same brand Rabipur. My doctor is insisting me on having injections of some other brand. But, I have recearched this issue alot and I found that different brands have different compositions in their rabies injections. I mean the source from where the makers of injections get inactive rabies virus is different for all the brands. I am asking for your advice what should I do in this case? Should I go for another brand or not? Please help me, I am already very tensed because of this situation. It is a very big concern for me. THANK YOU

Hello there, the composition remains the same in all brands, don't Google every little thing, if it's possible ask the medical store person to bring the same or you can go with the another, it's just to decrease your anxiety, nothing gonna happen, take vaccines on time.
