Swelling on the cheek
Hi Doctor, my mother has come to Banglore in the last week and from last two days her left cheek got swollen, but she says there is not much pin in the tooth or the cheek region.Kindly give some advice. Thank you Sandeep

Hello  visit  it is  looking like upper tooth infection. She may be having  badly rotten tooth chronic.visit. required  treatment.

You should immediately see a dentist in person.The swelling is due to most likely a severely infected tooth,,donot do any hot fomenation from outside the cheek,,warm water rinses with salt may help.

She is having extraoral swelling due to an infected tooth. Please consult a dentist immediately. She should be started on antibiotics and the affected tooth removed .
