Swelling on the cheek
Hi Doctor, my mother has come to Banglore in the last week and from last two days her left cheek got swollen, but she says there is not much pin in the tooth or the cheek region.Kindly give some advice.

Get the opg done. There might be some pus formation. Start with the antibiotic and analgesics for 5 days . Advice warm salibe rinses and do cold packs extra orally

You should immediately see a dentist in person.The swelling is due to most likely a severely infected tooth,,donot do any hot fomenation from outside the cheek,,warm water rinses with salt may help.

Hi..it is a tooth infection case. She either needs root canal or tooth extraction based on the x ray. Consultation required
