Swelling of leg and foot since 2o days

Asked for Female, 60 Years

My mother is about 60 yr old suffering from hypertensive and diabetics since 20yr .last 2 months before she faced shortness of breathing. Doctor suggested for scanning And x- ray. Found that more of pleural was extracted and sent for analysis .reports showed protein 4.2 and glucose 450 .And suspected tuberculosis. And started isoniazide combination drug .Is it correct treatment please suggest.

Hi It indicates TB. Continue the TB treatment for 6 months. Never stop the drugs in between. And continue diabetic tablets also.
