I feel a little swelling in my right side of neck, its been 3-4 months it pains sometimes is it cancer i recently visited a doctor he said it may be cyst or something else he gave me some medicines, while taking medicines i felt no pain, i didnt visited him again what should i do i am so confused, the swelling is not gone

You seem to be having enlargement of cervical lymph nodes. Usually they enlarge secondary to infections of throat, nose or skin of the facial region. Usually no specific treatment is required. If it is less than 1 cm size then you need not worry about it
