Swelling after recementation of crown
I have recemented crown on 47, excess cement was removed but patient was having pain and huge swelling at next day.

To judge out the cause for swelling an x ray will be required to examine the root canal treatment done in 47 tooth before placing the crown..The margins of crown and the gum area has to be examined clinically alongwith the adjacent teeth to come upto reason for pain and swelling..

Crown was done aftr RCT? If yes, Did the core build up fracture? Lot of clinical correlation is necessary plz visit the nearest dentist without delay
