Swelled eye
I have had some swelling in the right corner of my right eye for almost 6-7 months now. I have been putting an ointment and pressing it with hot water as suggested by a doctor by nothing has happened so far. I have been wearing contact lenses for almost 3 years now but I wore them continuously for almost 9-10 hours last year. Could that be the reason? Would I need a surgery? And if yes how much surgeries like these usually cost?

Hello Your symptoms are suggestive of Chalazion A.. Contact lens use has no relation with Chalazion B.  Surgery os an option which may cost you around 1-2k₹ C.  But before surgery, try intralesional triamcinolone injections Having said that it is provisional diagnosis Kindly share photos of your eye so that I may guide you better Regards
