Swelled eye due to bruises

Asked for Female, 21 Years

Hi doctor, My brother slipped off his bike last night though there wasn't any serious injury but some bruises and was given the first aid. The matter of concern is his eye which is swelled up and he is unable to open it wide. Is this something serious and needs the consultation from eye specialist or will be fine with time? Also, please let me know if there's something we can do to reduce swelling.? Images attached.
