Does surgery causes cancer to spread??? I have been listening to many people who say that yes when cancer cells are exposed to air or when surgical instruments are used cancer cells spread with greater speed.

Surgery can cure some cancers..
Do not be worried with all such rumors spread by nononcology persons

Not so. Spread of cancer within one's organ depends on tumor variety, tumor grade, cell division rate, Stage of cancer. Cancer does not spread from one person to the other.
