Hi Doctor,
My sister is 38weeks pregnant. Today she went forthe checkup. Doctor said c section to be performed because she s short and her legs are short due to which her pelvic bones may not expand. So even if she gets labor pain, c sectuon should be performed.
My confusion is there are many short women who gets normal delivery but why doctor said like this. I never heared anything like this. Kindly educate me. Thanks

Normal delivery depends upon the size of pelvis .if pelvis is narrow with short height then c section is advisable.
