When you visit the doctor next please ensure that you go in appointed time and there is no patient in the clinic at that time.I ask patient to wait in car till I call them after ensuring their safety & seclusion from others . You should be masked with well fitting mask , Doctor also will be with N95 .Also I ensure that I talk to patients on phone at length & request them to keep quiet while in clinic & instruct them beforehand to ask more questions on phone only after they leave . If each doctor & patient take precautions safety is ensured. However in this case also there is NO need to panic . Chances of your baby getting COVID unless you were not at a distance from that patient are negligible .
