My brother is sufferinf from jaundice... he has been hospitalized...now doctors are planning to do biopsy on him...so i want to know that is this neccessary to do biopsy in jaundice and also they are giving eggs in his diet and people are saying that it is like poison content in jaundice... so i want to know everything about this... i am very confused and scared...plz reply as quick as you can...

Jaundice is disease and symptom of other diseaes too means , I will explain , jaundice wl happen as part of some other disease , there are many other diseases in that jaundice may happen. So need to find out why jaundice has happened to Patient , when not able to find out with blood test and scanning then have to do biopsy to find out root cause of it. So u don't worry. Only Fallow opinion of your doctor , if u have still doubt u can ask your treating doctor and u can take second opinion of other gastroenterologist .
