Some food items help in bringing blood sugar down. Your test results are fine. Consult doctor every 3 months and take lot of green vegetables and do exercise for 1-2 hours like walking etc.

Your current hba1c level is good. Currently, there is no cure for diabetes unfortunately. However, with regular diet, physical activity and medicines , you will be able to keep a good level of sugar control. Your target hba1c should be less than 7 and should be tested every 3 months.
