This could be due to conjunctivitis
Try
A cold compresses
B use antibiotic eyedrop like moxifloxacin 6times daily along with lubricating eyedrop frequently
C. Soft steroid like fluorometholone can be used in severe cases
Having said that it is provisional diagnosis
